I do not smoke anything. As of now, not even smudging or a pork roast make it to these lungs. I have proven to be extremely prone to upper respiratory infections. Besides that I prefer genuine laughter to altering chemistry – for me the memories last longer. Still, intrigue and interest pursue intellect at my desk. Cannabis Caramel Candy
Time Required: 25 minutes
Yields 3 to 4 Dozen Pieces
Ingredients:
- 9” x 13” pan
- Medium sized saucepan
- 1 cup CannaButter
- 2 ¼ cups brown sugar
- Dash salt
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk (canned)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps:
- Melt Cannabutter slowly in saucepan.
- Stir in brown sugar and salt until combined.
- Stir in light corn syrup
- Add milk slowly while constantly stirring.
- Cook mixture over medium heat until candy begins to get firmer. (Usually 12 to 15 minutes.)
- Remove saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour mixture into pan. Allow for candy to cool down.
- Cut, serve, and store.
Caramel Cashew Squares
Crust
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter (2 cannabutter, 2 regular)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Topping
1/2 cup butterscotch-flavored baking chips
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons cannabutter
1 cup chopped salted cashews
